SerpAPI
Structured search results from 50+ engines including Google, Bing, YouTube, and Amazon — with full browser execution.
About
SerpAPI gives AI agents structured access to search results from over 50 search engines — Google, Bing, Yahoo, DuckDuckGo, YouTube, Amazon, eBay, Walmart, and dozens more. Unlike simpler search APIs, SerpAPI runs a full browser to execute each search, handling CAPTCHAs, proxy rotation, and JavaScript rendering automatically, then returns clean JSON that agents can parse immediately.
The breadth of engine coverage is the key differentiator. An agent can search Google for web results, YouTube for videos, Amazon for products, Google Maps for local businesses, and Google Scholar for research papers — all through one unified API. SerpAPI maintains an official MCP server (both self-hosted and hosted at mcp.serpapi.com) and has published blog posts specifically about AI agent use cases, including guides on building agents with real-time search capabilities.
Notable customers include Perplexity, Nvidia, and Adobe. SDKs are available in 10 languages — the broadest coverage of any search API. The free tier includes 250 searches per month, with paid plans starting at $25/month for 1,000 searches.
